About Me

Hello!
I’m Hannah Jiang, a junior at Tufts University studying Cognitive and Brain Sciences.
My journey into UI/UX design began during the winter break of my sophomore year, when I discovered the perfect blend of my passions for both technology and design. Eager to dive in, I taught myself Figma through Udemy courses and the Google UX Certificate, and before long, I was hooked on pursuing this field.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to take coursework in design and collaborate with incredible teams during Producthons and Hackathons, where I applied my design skills to real-world challenges.
Currently, I’m the UX Design Lead at JumboCode, a student-run nonprofit organization that creates tech products for local companies. I’ve had the pleasure of working on a web-based database for the Somerville Museum alongside a talented team.
Outside of academics, I am a coxswain on the Tufts Women's Rowing team, where I led the 1st Varsity 8+ to remarkable first-place wins at the prestigious Head of the Charles in 2023 and 2024 and the 2024 NCAA DIII National Championships.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story!
